Decoden is the Japanese art of dressing everyday objects in clay “frosting,” rhinestones, pearls, and tiny resin charms until they're practically dripping with kawaii. No drawing. No painting. No two pieces alike.
Pick a base — a jewelry box, mirror set, photo frame, trinket dish, or phone case — and we'll guide you through piping whipped-cream-clay icing across it, then pressing in your charms and gems before it sets. Whether your style is soft pastel and bows or glittery and maximalist, every guest walks out with a sparkling, totally one-of-a-kind keepsake they put together themselves.
What's included
All materials, ready to go. Whipped-cream-clay icing, deco icing tubes, gems, pearls, mystery resin charms, your chosen base, plus aprons — just bring yourself.
Step-by-step instruction. Our team walks you through piping the clay, laying out your charms, and pressing the gems in so everything sets up clean and sparkling.
Pick your own base. Heart mirror, mirror-and-comb set, clam brush, jewelry box (heart, cat, or 2-tier cake), trinket dish, photo frame, or phone case — you choose.
Mix-and-match charms. Dig through trays of gems, pearls, bows, and resin charms in every aesthetic — pastel and kawaii, moody, glittery, or all of the above.
Kid-friendly, ages 6 and up. Materials are non-toxic and safe for little hands. Kids 13 and under join with a parent so the layout and clay work stay on track.

Pipe, layer, and decorate
Your instructor walks you through piping the whipped-cream icing onto your base, then you press in the charms and gems while it's still soft.
Walk out with your finished piece
Unlike most studio experiences, there's no curing time, no pickup trip, and no shipping — your decoden piece is ready the moment you finish, so you leave with it in hand the same day.
